solid vpn for linux users

nordvpn for linux is great, but wish they accepted bitcoin more easily.

Easy to use, works well

Signed up for NordVPN. Downloaded the app for Android. It connected fast. Speeds are fine. No issues.

Consistent and reliable service

This is my third time renewing NordVPN; I've been with them for about five years now. Started with a 1-year plan, then two 2-year plans. I primarily use the VPN for iOS and for my Windows desktop. The interface has improved over the years, becoming even more user-friendly. Speeds have remained consistently good for me, no real slowdowns compared to my regular internet. I appreciate that the service just works, day in and day out. This renewal was as smooth as the previous ones. I stick with them because I rarely have connection problems, and it keeps my browsing private. No surprises, which is exactly what I want from a VPN.

Overall solid VPN service

I got the NordVPN Plus package, mostly for the NordPass Password Manager bundled with it. The setup for the VPN itself was super easy, downloaded the app for my Mac, and it connected without a hitch. Speeds were good for general browsing and some streaming. NordPass integrated well too. My main gripe was that the Dark Web Monitor feature seemed a bit aggressive with notifications at first, though I could adjust that in settings. For the price, especially with the 2-year deal, it feels like a good value. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the billing cycle. It's a reliable service, but that Dark Web Monitor could be toned down by default.

Good service, fast setup

I purchased the NordVPN Standard 2-year plan after looking into a few options. The ordering process on their website was pretty straightforward, just a few clicks to select the plan and enter payment info. I used a credit card. Confirmation email came right away. Downloaded the VPN for Windows and had it installed and running in under five minutes. Connected to a server in the UK without any issues, and I noticed my streaming services worked without buffering. Their Threat Protection also seems to be doing its job quietly in the background. Had a question about Meshnet setup later, and their online chat support responded within a minute and gave clear instructions. No complaints on quality or usability so far. The only small thing was finding the exact plan I wanted among all the different options initially, but once I selected it, it was smooth sailing.
